When ?

Post by Nittenti »

When are you fixing Download Center so our NAS don't loose configuration ?

You had almost 1 year to ask Intel for a driver so we who are stuck on XBMC can upgrade to KODI - any progress ?

PS: Why did you delete my previous post about these issues ? I am a customer who bought your hardware, and I think I am entitled to ask questions about things that do not work in the hardware I bought from you.
AS-604T (3GB RAM) with 4*WD Red 2TB in RAID5
Not the HTPC I thought I bought!
I wonder when Asustor is gonna throw some ressources/manpower/knowledge getting it to work, we did pay a decent amount of money for this - for the moment piece of furniture!

Hi
I think asustor no offence deleted you post. Can you re-post it again?
by the way, I suggestion you buy latest model use KODI. I think Intel cannot support ATOM driver on XBMC or KODI. Because ATOM CPU is phase out product. ;)

So you are advising someone to upgrade to a more expensive piece of equipment simply because an app that was advertised as working with a specific model isn't working with it? Because the CPU is EOL? The XBMC app was initially released on Asustor platforms for this specific model. EoL or not, the program was ported over for this model in mind. The expectation is that the model would remain viable for the app for more than a year is more than reasonable. (Even if I think there are better, more viable solutions out there.)

The suggestion that the OP buy a different model is stupid. And if I were him looking to purchase a different NAS for Kodi, I would be looking at another manufacturer completely. (Although most companies are having issues with Kodi on their models right now.)

And of course, the OP can't repost his question regarding DownLoad Center, because he hasn't got backups of the original post. Asustor has those.... So exactly how would he be able to repost it?

His initial post was about DLC and RSS feeds not working right if I remember correctly. Even most of the follow up posts he has made have been deleted. I think he has a right to know why. And I think his issues with DLC are valid, and he should expect answers to fix the problem.

Asustor has been deleting a lot of posts lately. Some of mine included. Especially when I make critical comments regarding their lack of presence on the boards, lack of end-user support or replying to stupid posts from a couple of users.

Sometimes the stupidity of posts on this board truly amaze me!
