Please add support to backup photos to the NEW Google Photos *UNLIMITED STORAGE*

I recently purchased an ASUSTOR AS-5010T.

Great unit, would be even better if there was an app that would backup all photos stored on the NAS automatically to the 'new' Google Photos service.

As of June 2015, Google photos are offering unlimited photos storage (up to 16 megapixel resolution).

For a free service I think its a great offer. Yes, a lot of people have devices that shoot higher than 16 megapixel now, but better to have some form of photo backup than none i guess ?

If this could somehow be implemented as an app that would be awesome.

From what ive read about the "new" Google Photos,

"Google Photos was always good, but now it’s entirely outside of a social network. Lots of folks choose to share photos on social networks, but few want to share every single one publicly, or even among all their friends and followers. Now you don’t need a Google+ account to use Google Photos, and your pictures and videos remain private unless and until you choose to share them, Google says."

once again, Asustor, please develop an app that syncs photos at "high quality' to Google Photos, they offer unlimited storage. Would be a great backup feature from the NAS.

in google you can search "google takeout" - it's config of yours account - there you able make archive all photos and download it.

Thanks for the info but it's not an automated process so no backup for future photos.

What we ideally need is an app running on ADM , kind of like 'DataSync for OneDrive' that lets you sync your entire photo collection on the NAS to Google Photos.

The app should have the option to sync in High Quality (unlimited storage on google) or Original Quality (i think this is limited by Google to 15GB - with the option to buy extra storage if you wish).

Please Asustor, this would make your NAS stand out from the rest in the market.
