Sustain option for Network recycle bin

Post by Gunthor »

Within Settings > Network recycle bin I enabled this setting long ago and scheduled this bin to be emptied weekly. I find this option to be a very useful one. However this setting cannot offer files for restore shortly after the scheduled empty action! :|

How about offering an additional schedule option that will leave the latest files (< XX days) untouched while deleting all other files (> xx days)? The empty action would then run daily. Users should be able to
  • Set the time for this daily empty action and
  • Set the number of days (indicating the files to be preserved).
I invite others who would use this option as well to express their interest by adding a short answer to this post. ;)

It would be nice if the file structure was obtained in the trash.
So if I , for example,
\\Media\DIR1\DIR2\sample.htm
delete .
I then file in
\\NAS recycle bin 1\Media\DIR1\DIR2\sample.htm
find again.

Currently, all files are indeed simply moved to the trash and you there fast times more than 1000 files.

Sorry, translated with Google.
