ok, am I being silly or is there a special way to activate the ADM to accept using the media remote?
I am connected to TV using HDMI. The media remote doesn't seem to do anything. Faulty remote or wrong setting?
Please help!

Let me answer my own question:
To use the remote, you need to install the Remote Centre App in App centre.
So far can only use XBMC as media server and not plex.
