Dear asustor

It would be a great feature if we could add torrent trackers to the search in Aidownloader, iptorrents, danishbits, mma-tracker.org, nxtgn, torrentlech etc.

Also As it is now i am downloading .torrent file on my smartphone and then transfering them to the nas smart download folder with a ftp app i got on me phone.
if we somehow could do this with one of the asustor apps, it would make it easier to download when you are not at home..

and then there is the "auto extract to a specefic folder" option ive been mentioning before, so the NAS basicly does all the work itself

These features would be a great addition to the asustor family.. not everyone has skills like clinton.hall, or else we could probably code these things ourselfs

I use transmission GUI to send torrent or magnet links to nas to download from phone and it never fails.

If you use any other bittorrent client than the one provided by asustor, e.g. deluge, transmission, utorrent, etc. then for android users there's an awesome application named Transdroid (unavailable in Market because another app stole it's name.)

This also requires you to forward your ports so the torrent client is connectable from the outside (unless your on your home wifi).

Also, Transmission and Deluge both support running scripts when a torrent is complete, I created one to automatically extract TV-series, for example, which I use with Deluge (could post it if anyone is interested).

There is even one more option in regard to torrent clients, qBittorrent which I've submitted to Asustor, but they haven't reviewed it yet so it's not available in App Central.

PS. Asustor won't be able to implement torrent search for any private bittorrent trackers since these require a login.
