Ability to backup using network path

It would be great if you could schedule backups from network path's so for example you can backup \\servername\c$\Data folder from any server on the network.

I requested this from Synology but it dissapeared into a black hole.

This functionality exists on the Netgear ReadyNAS and would be great on the Asustor.

You can use Backup Plan -> create -> other
You can \\servernname\share folder\
