VLC or a simple video app to read everything

I beg you to port VLC or a simple video app to read every videos.

I'm very disappointed with my new Asustor NAS. I thought I could read every video even the one not working through DLNA. But XBMC is not reading my video even. There is no other app to read video through HDMI. On any computer you can have a video app that can read any type of video. My video is reading well on VLC.

An another request is the possibility to kill a process. Unfortunately I got several times app freeze, then the only possibility is to restart completely my NAS. That's annoying.

I profit also to ask the support of USB camera in Surveillance Center app.

The ADM is well done, but there is so many app missing...

Oh, I can play all of my video by XBMC. Do you know what's the file extension name and video encoding format that failed to play?

It's just mkv files...

Yesterday, I watch a movie with XBMC, fortunately some is working. But, before 15min. of the end XBMC crashed...

I was not real happy with XBMC on my NAS but not because of its ability to read a file. It would play everything I threw at it.
