Yes, I know that you could install it manually, but an apk is easier. ;)

Why would you want to run this software on your NAS? I'd imagine another type of server would be more suited.

It depends on the reality around you. There are no only companies with 1,000 employees and a small nos AS-6XX series in which centralize certain functions is ideal.
