Adding external drives to Raid

This may have been mentioned before, but thought I would post it here. Would be awesome to add external hdd's (at least eSata drives) to the raid array. I realize can always upgrade the box etc... but having hot swap drives available in external chassis would be great. Or running a Raid-6 with the 2 drives external...

Just an idea. Thought it would really be a nice feature.
