Re: Replace Java with HTML5 (e.g. for file manager)
Hi Sys, fritzboxuser, Hyena,
Thanks for the kind patience! We have already implemented HTML5 in ADM 2.6 (beta now and to be officially release these 2 weeks). Also, for LooksGood (to be released with ADM 2.6 official), PhotoGallery, we have also implemented HTML5. Our on-going endeavor now is the new ADM 3.0 with a new UI (resize icon, grouping etc..) We hope to preview the ADM 3.0 in Computex first (June) and then have beta version after that. For the video format support and functions on these, we will also keeping improving it. Thanks once again for the kind reminder!

Re: Replace Java with HTML5 (e.g. for file manager)
Hello Shawn.S@AST,
I have upgraded to the 2.6 firmware. ADM may be using html5, but I would like to see the local computer again in Filemanager. As there are lot's of html5 managers around capable of doing this I was kind of disappointed that the local computer is still missing in Filemanager in the most used browser (and has been missing for a long, long time)....
Best regards,
Kapitein Haak.

Re: Replace Java with HTML5 (e.g. for file manager)
Hi Kapitein,
Thanks for the great question! I remember that the local computer is shown in ADM File Manager with the help of java. If Java is not used any more, I do not know if we can make the local drive shown in ADM. I will check with engineer tomorrow as today is national holiday here...
Hi fritzboxuser,
Sorry, I seem to miss your question of April 21...Yes, I think the ADM 3.0 will be applied to AS2, AS3, AS6 series as well if there is no major gating blocks.
