Hello Vincent,

Will the filemanager Java replacement also give us a decent HTML5 player for LooksGood? Browsing the web I can find several good HTML5 players which could be integrated in a website. This would make LooksGood usable for most browsers again.
October and november have past. Will it be our new years present? ;)

Best regards,
Kapitein Haak.

Hi Kapitein,

Thanks for your suggestion. Our RD is evaluating all possible ways in file manager and LooksGood. I will keep pushing them for the enhancement implementation.

Hello Vincent,

Sorry to be blunt, but it is taking a REALLY long time to move forward. This request has been open for ages, the request for subfolders in Photo Gallery has been open even much longer. How hard can it be to add support for subfolders when almost EVERY FREE webalbum can do subfolders? We're not asking you to reinvent the wheel or start from scratch. You could also just license a working solution (e.g. a HTML5 player) and give credits (or some money) and save yourself a lot of time. These aren't just feature request, parts of ADM (file manager/looksgood) just don't work anymore in one of the largest browsers (and shouldn't work in any other browser as well).

Seeing the (lack of) progress does make me doubt my decision of Asustor over Synology. I knew it wouldn't be as polished as DSM, but ADM isn't moving forward (as far as I'm aware).

Best regards,
Kapitein Haak.

Also waiting for the javaless file manager and looksgood because without the plugins this apps not really usefull  .
New improved ADM 3.0 also would be nice.
I have a qnap ts-453 pro as well which has html5 based surface and pretty nice dashboard...
The end of the year is comming, do you have any ETA for this?
It would be a nice christmas present :D .

2.5.2.RCG2 released today and still using Java, so no update to HTNL 5 today either. Probably not going to be a Christmas present for Asustor's customers on this... Likely going to be after the New Year.

Hi Hyena,

Thanks for the reminder! We are planning on it and because of the previous tasks queue, our resources got tied-up, we will try to get these tasks into high priority.

Dear Shawn,

Thanks for the answer.
I have several different NAS from different brands (synology, qnap, asustor, even i have a builded one) but my fovorite is the Asustor AS5104T.
But every bean has its black, and i like to get a new HTML 5 based surface with some new features like the synology has (widgets, customizable desktop with icon drawers...not just 5x3 icons) , or dashboard widget like the qnap has and html 5 based file manager and looks good app.
Otherwise congratulations for your hard work i used to offer asustor nas to my friends who don't know anything else just synology :D
My another question is when could we expect a new ADM after the buggy 2.5.2 disapeared from the download section?

Hi Hyena,

Thanks so much for the kind tolerance and encouragement! We will do our best to reach your expectation! We have already started the layout design and maybe you can give us some comment if you like and have time.

For ADM 2.5.2, we plan to officially release it by end of this month and in the mean time, we may release ADM 2.6 beta as well. For your kind information!!!
