Netflix won't play thru the portal, because chrome is outdated. My chrome is from 2013. Can't see that anywhere that chrome ever been updated......... Or is it just me?
I can't get it to work either on my AS-602T with Intel Atom processor.

It's refered to a web browser app on the beta page...... I can't find anything but the old chrome in the applist

Same goes for most DRM based media, it requires the DRM licence to belong to someone specific, not the whole world of developers.
Problem with it as i see it, is that you can add plugins to rip the media being played, which will mean you can make a raw copy of the decrypted media being played and get around the DRM protection, Netflix do not like that.
You forgot to add that even semi-official netflix apps like on android are only 480p.
