Thanks. That elFinder seems to work well and it is free. ALAS, the problem is I have no idea how to install it. Any pointers, tips, etc.?

The Java requirements for accessing the NAS is very limiting. I can get to the NAS through any web browser I've installed on my tablet, but several functions either don't work or are limited. I find that I have to use TeamViewer from tablet to my laptop/desktop to get the required functionality.
The tablet apps have everything so spread out, I find I have to go into one, see the options missing, try another, just to find what I need/want to do.
