Is there a conflict between the internal network penetration Tailscale software and the built-in DDNS of the NAS system?

Native port (no docker) of tailscale VPN client / server
A frustratingly simple VPN.
Tailscale lets you easily manage access to private resources, quickly SSH into devices on your network, and work securely from anywhere in the world.

If Tailscale 1.64.0+from the application center is installed and set up properly, the official DDNS originally included in the system will no longer function properly.

Before installing Tailscale 1.64.0+, the official DDNS domain name resolution was normal, Under the DDNS domain name resolution interface, the IPv6 address can be displayed correctly. If Tailscale 1.64.0+is installed and the account is set to log in, the official DDNS domain name resolution provided by the system will not work properly. Only the domain name is displayed under the DDNS domain name resolution interface, and IPv6 address information is not displayed. Moreover, external networks cannot access NAS through this domain name.
If Tailscale 1.64.0+is disabled or uninstalled before restarting the NAS, The DDNS domain name resolution is back to normal, and the IPv6 address can also be displayed. The external network can also access NAS through this domain name.

Hi,

I don't have this problem in IPv4 (I don't have IPv6)
BUT
did you used Magic DNS (or other) in tailscale ?
... some ADM WebUI page display no information or incorrect when tailscale run ... even in fact all is OK, example : DNS field is empty when you used tailscale DNS (100.100.100.100) ... even working as well.

to get the best, I have added myasustor domain in domain search (tailscale admin DNS menu) to get a correct response to request.

You must also be sure of your routing ... because priority can send response through tailscale even request come from internal LAN

also check the tailscale support (issues in github) and troubleshooting guide.

Philippe.
