Drivestor 2 and Mac Big Sur

Post by PAB »

Hi
I am using a Asustor Drivestor 2 NAS as a Time Machine backup for my Macs. Big Sur (OS 11.6) does not work properly with my NAS and is v.e.r.y.slow to transfer data - ie 4 days to do a full backup instead of 4 hours for other macs (my other macs using earlier OS work just fine with this NAS).

Has anyone found a way to make Big Sur work with Drivestor???

There's many things to look out for before determining Big Sur and Drivestor 2 caused the issue. Need more details from you like network, logs, settings, preliminary troubleshootings etc. A quick look over the internet reveals common network issues with Big Sur and a quick fix is to recreate the network connections.
