An accelerated drive has not been created for Volume

Post by phamine »

I'm trying to use the SSD as cache for read.
However - the option is greyed out for me.

"An accelerated drive has not been created for Volume 1 yet. We recommend that you create an SSD cache of at least 10.00 GB to increase data access speeds."

It looks like that ADM does not detect a SSD?! You can post drive picture here. If you indeed inserted one or two SSDs in your NAS and it shows nothing, you'll need to send a support request to asustor directly: https://support.asustor.com/ It's impossible to know what's wrong without detailed information.

Thanks. It's a Single SSD in drive 1. I'll reach out to support.

You created volume 1 using that SSD. So you cannot create "that SSD" as cache.
