*.mpeg added

The UPnP AV Media Server app can turn your NAS into your home multimedia streaming server. As long as you have devices that support UPnP or DLNA (for example, SONY BRAVIA TV or PlayStation3), you can directly browse and stream the pictures, music and videos stored on your NAS.

*.mpeg added

Post by Thelic »

Hello,

Since last update *.mpeg is added at the end of each of *.mkv files and then produce an ugly "incompatible video format" error.
For ex : film.1080.truefrench.mkv becomes film.1080.truefrench.mkv.mpeg

Previous version works perfectly on my Philips BlueRay reader.

Can you please correct this ?

Kind of curious about this issue. I have also updated uPnP to r138 version but do not seem to encounter this issue with Samsung ES5500 SmartTV through uPnP. I check all the files in Samsung Allshare, the file name still stays intact as MKV...

What is the version you update to for uPnP? (uPnP v.1, not uPnP v.2 right?)

I am having the same issue with both versions of UPnP media server. They change .mkv video files to .mpeg's and my OPPO 93 refuses to play them. I know this was working before so it must have changed in an update.

Any help with this???
