FTP Backup to another Asustor NAS failed

Post by magnum »

Hi all,
Anyone hits the below problem when trying to backup from AS5202T to AS202TE/AS3202T?

Failed to upload folder(//TTL) : A libcurl function was given a bad argument(200)
Failed to upload folder(//Official Documents) : A libcurl function was given a bad argument(200)
Failed to upload file(/volume1/Personal/Router & Access Point Settings.txt): A libcurl function was given a bad argument(200)

I have tried to delete the mentioned file, but problem still exists.

My AS3202T has no problem backing up to AS202TE.

Raised an ticket to the technical support but there was no response.

Thank you in advance.

Updated:
Did a re-initialization, clearing the data of my hdd, reinstall those apps,
1. Power off the NAS.
2. Unplug all drives.
3. Power on the NAS(empty unit)
4. When it's on, use ACC(ASUSTOR Control Center) to scan and list the NAS list, you should be able to see the unit status is uninitialized, use browser to visit NAS IP address and follow the instruction to insert hdd and proceed initialization.

And yes, it is working fine for the backup now (for both ftp and rsync).
