AS6510T memory

Post by aenigmainc »

I currently have this maxed out at the 32GB limit. I was curious if anyone has tried to put more than that in it. I have a few docker containers running, and a VM and the 32GB is limiting.

I would be more than happy to try. Can you send me the place you purchased the Lockerstor Memory. Also did you install the M.2 SSD?

Thanks.

The C3538 is apparently capable of using 256GB over 2 channels, so hypothetically 64GB (2x32GB SODIMM) wouldn't be an issue.

Span.com are usually quite adventurous with their memory options, often going outside of spec and then covering the manufacturer's warranty themselves. But for the AS6510T they have 2x16GB as their max.

You could contact them (or nascompares.com as they're essentially the same people) to see if this was ever tested/if they would be willing to do so.
