Hello,

I'm having the same issue where I cannot backup anything in the Home folder to an external device. In fact, the Home folder doesn't even show up in the options of folders I can backup. I'm logged in as an admin when setting up and creating the backup.

Here are some pics :

Thanks a lot for your help !

Did you mean the solution is not working for you?
You can try to un-check "Disable file access to this shared folder" under ADM web page -> Access Control -> Shared Folders -> User Homes -> Edit. You can backup home folder if you are in "administrators" group.
Then, post that screenshot here...

You posted wrong pictures. I mean the picture of "ADM web page -> Access Control -> Shared Folders -> User Homes -> Edit".

I suppose I have to uncheck the box ? Sorry, I was in the wrong folder.

Is it right if I backup all the "home" directory, and if I change my disks", I will be able to backup all the apps and configuration ?

Many thanks !

Best regards,

Yes, you'll need to "un-check" it. After that, you can see "User Homes" under backup & restore tool.

No, you won't be able to backup apps and it's configurations under "home". It is only "home" directory that you can backup. Apps are actually located onto other places. Each app behaves differently.

I'm having the same issue as the others with not seeing the Home (not User Home) folder in the external backup folder selection screen. I followed previous advice to make sure that in access for the Home folder to uncheck "Disable file access to this shared folder" and I still can't see this folder in the external backup folder selection screen. Any other ideas?

I see "User Homes" folder in your picture. So it works. Any problems?
