Hey Everyone,
Brand new to this forum and NAS thing. Got a brand new ASUSTOR 6404T with SEAGATE 10TB drive for storage (will expand to 4 total drives), cloud access, media, photos secure document storage, home theater and future website and blog. Everything is hardwired with CAT 6, connected to a home office network and our home theater. Hardware includes a ASUS RT-AC5300 gigabyte wireless router, Arris Surfboard SBSB6183 cable modem, Netgear GS116NA 16 port gigabit switch. All this connected to a BOSE 650 to a Samsung 8K TV, Samsung UBD-M9500 Blue Ray UHD player and of course the obligatory XBOX One.
Looking forward to learning from everyone and PLEASE be gentle with this noobie who will undoubtedly ask a whole bunch of "stupid" questions!!
