Hi Guys,
I have a AS5108T, updated with ADM 3.2.2.RM92 and installed with 6x Seagate Ironwolf 4TB drives (ST4000VN008-2DR166) and 2x Seagate Ironwolf 10TB drives (ST10000VN0004-1ZD101).
For some reason, the latest ADM doesn't recognize the drives as Ironwolf and enable Ironwolf Health Management tools in Storage Manager. I remember having this feature enabled in the previous ADM versions. What gives? Any insights would be appreciated.
Regards,
Albert

I own no Ironwolf drives. But I believe the most efficient way for you is to send a support request to asustor to check it. https://support.asustor.com/

Upon reading your message I went in to check on my Iron Wolf Drives and sure enough the Iron Wolf Health management is not running on mine either. I guarantee you that it used to be running, so I'm not sure which software upgrade removed it but Asustor needs to fix it or quit advertising it as a feature...
** Edit **
I just went ahead and submitted a support ticket on this. I'll let you know what I find out.

I received this from Asustor tech support - They know of the problem and will fix in an ADM update...

Thanks for your feedback, we have just noticed the problem recently, and it's been reported our s/w team for a solution.
Since it's required for Seagate to update their utility for us . The problem will be fixed in newer ADM release.

Re: AS5108T with ADM 3.2.2.RM92 doesn't support Ironwolf Health Management
So I just bought and installed a new AS5202T with a single Seagate 2T IronWolf drive for now. I updated ADM to 3.5.7.RKU2. From App Central I installed the IronWolf Health Management app, and it shows its status as Installed. But nothing seemed to happen. I don't see any new app anywhere, and the Storage Manager shows the drive as ST2000VN004-2E4164 (S/N: xxxxxxxx), where the x's are my real number from the box. Does anyone have an update on this?
Becoming a happy customer, as I figure all this out

Firstly, you are necroing a 3-year-old thread. Secondly, what were you expecting to happen? As far as I know, all the tool/app roughly does when installed, is enable ADM to pull the health metrics from the disk.JacktheRipperPhD wrote:So I just bought and installed a new AS5202T with a single Seagate 2T IronWolf drive for now. I made it long as I lacked the time to make it short.
