What could cause the qnap not see the shared folders on the 608t?

Hi there,

According to your description, I assume you use AS-608T as the rsync server and would like to back up from TS-439 to AS-608T.

ASUSTOR follows the standard rsync which uses "modules" instead of "listing ALL shared folders" as the backup destinations, a "module" can be a shared folder or a subfolder within the system, and you can also define different access rights for each module. I have attached a sample screenshot for your reference.

Therefore, to back up data from TS-439 to AS-608T, you will need to go to [Services] > [Rsync Server], and create the module(s) first. Then you will be able to see your modules from the qnap.

Asustor model seems strange at first, coming from QNAP / Thecus... However, I got used to it quickly and have grown to appreciate it.
