[Official] Deluge (BitTorrent client)

Deluge is a full-featured BitTorrent client for Linux, OS X, Unix and Windows. It has been designed using the client server model with a daemon process that handles all the bittorrent activity. The Deluge daemon is able to run on headless machines with the user-interfaces being able to connect remotely from any platform.

Hi. I have a problem with my asustor nas and deluge. My Yarss2 stopped working with update of phyton and also deluge, but i've installed the last version of it. I'm using the latest deluge for nas and i'v tried almost all version of yarss2 plugin. Deluge recieve torrents, but it does not start downloading. Even on manual run. Here is the log:

(2015-10-08T07:38:22): Manually running Subscription 'jjj'
(2015-10-08T07:38:22): Update handler executed on RSS Feed 'jjj (broadcasthe.net)' (Update interval 15 min)
(2015-10-08T07:38:22): Fetching subscription 'jjj'.
(2015-10-08T07:38:22): Fetching RSS Feed: 'jjj' with Cookie: '{}' and User-agent: 'Deluge v1.3.12.dev0 YaRSS2 v1.4.1 Linux/3.4.26'.
(2015-10-08T07:38:26): bozo_exception when parsing rssfeed: <urlopen error [SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed (_ssl.c:590)>
(2015-10-08T07:38:26): No items retrieved

The torrents are in list and i have .* filter so they are all green. What can i do?

Hi,

In time waiting "official" response ;.. for your information a package of
deluge 1.3.12 and deluge-webui 1.3.12 exist in Entware APKG ...

I don't test it myself on Asustor ... but they run on other x86/x86_64 and Arm NAS ...
This version is used and had been introduce (in complement of standard Entware package) by Zyxmon the integrator of Entware for other architecture than mipsel ...

I have no expertise on deluge itself ... may be you can try to solve (waiting solution for official offer) your problem ...

Just have a look if Web-Ui add a local (to Entware http server, or it's an independent program) to don't conflict in terms of TCPIP port ... or extract it and link it to the default Asustor web server.

Philippe.

I don't understand what you're question is, could you please clarify? If you would like to use Deluge on asustor, please install my application from App Central or GitHub. I do not provide support for any third-party version of Deluge.

Hi Mafredi,

Interest of system based on Linux ... is ... that you can have MORE than one solution for the same problem even for the same program ...

Lot of people use different version or packaging ... so it's NOT a question ... just to said ... if for any reason a problem exist (or seems to exist) with a package ... another one can be try ... eventually to separate problems attach to the plate-form to problem attach to the package itself ...

no worry ... be happy ... and continue to promote your package as well ... just remember than nobody is alone in the world ... :D

Have a nice day.
Philippe.
