The latest PhpMyAdmin.

Post by MacRoy »

Hi!

Can someone be kind enough to put together the latest edition of phpMyAdmin.

The present we have today works terribly bad!

With best regards

If I had a working PhpMyAdmin so I would not need to update it, right? One update is not just for pleasure!

All have not the same settings on their machines.

I don't understand what you mean so I apologise.

Phpmyadmin does not need to be an app, you can install it easily yourself. As with any app that stops working the way you expect it to, best cure is to uninstall and reinstall. This should not affect the contents of your databases in anyway

To keep it up to date with phpmyadmins rapid release schedule the only real way is to uninstall the app and install the latest release. Simply? download the latest version from phpmyadmin and unzip, place the phpmyadmin folder in your web directory and follow the instructions on the site. Then anytime it prompts you to upgrade just follow the instructions on their site, takes about 5mins most times I do it.

A similar option works for owncloud as well. I am sure there are a few other app/packages that are self installing in their original format

If I got this wrong (even if I got it right but you don't understand) please let me know and I will try to help further.
