Does Kodi Get Updated On The Newer NAS Units?

I've been thinking of buying the AS-6404T and was just wondering about the version of Kodi installed on it.

I already have the AS-604T but that is restricted to a version of XMBC that has since stopped being updated, and I had already ordered the remote and IR receiver.

I don't want to upgrade to the 6404 and run the same risk as with the 604, so was wondering if the version of Kodi installed on the NAS units are updated, and if so, to what extent in comparison to the main version of Kodi. If it looks like Asustor are likely to keep updating Kodi, then it might be worth upgrading to the 6404. At present, I watch stuff using a Raspberry Pi running Kodi.

Cheers for that. No doubt they'll continue to advertise it as supporting Kodi. It looks like I'll be starting my search for a new NAS from scratch.
