hi
no. Your question is like : "is there a way not to access disks while an application requests to ?"

has workaround, you may start and stop kodi by adding orders for that in crontab.

For me when Kodi is running and i look a film from another PC (not from Austor NAS), my Asustor 6204 goes to S3 sleep.
I must wakeup my Asustor and Kodi starts the film from the last position without any key select .
I can prevent this S3 sleep when i open info menue before the 30min s3 sleep time.
