SSD Cache Partition
I know the answer before I ask (Everything remotely out of the ordinary seems to be overlooked in this OS). I have a 1TB SSD drive installed along side my RAID5 array (3x4TB). I thought I could partition the SSD and use part of it for caching the other raid array reads and the rest as JBOD, its a bit of a waste having 1TB cache. Alas i cannot find any way to do a simple disk partition in this OS. Is there any way? Can I force one through command line?

Re: SSD Cache Partition
I'm not aware of any way to partition a drive. But this isn't specific to ADM as I'm pretty sure that it's not supported by Synology or QNAP either.

Re: SSD Cache Partition
Cheers for the info. Tempted to try to create partitions outside the gui with parted and see if it will be recognised as a valid drive for the cache, anyone tried this?
