AS5304T - beignet and OpenCL
Haven't seen a great answer to this yet so figured I would bring it here. I am using my NAS as a plex server, but currently anytime it needs to done HDR to SDR tone mapping it completely fails to do anything. A little digging bring me to this being an issue with not having beignet and OpenCL. So my question is does anyone know a good way to get these dependencies on the NAS without too much hassle?

Re: AS5304T - beignet and OpenCL
Hi,
As I know ... this software are not directly available on NAS with GPU and CPU supporting openCL (it's the case of the AS5304T with inside a Celeron J4105 that support up to openCL 2.0)
... but ask support ... some internal tools can use some libraries even not "open" for all.
The possible workaround is (as usual) to use :
Chroot (Debian or Ubuntu) and execute same software inside including require libraries (tested)
... directly a chroot
... OR as myHD APKG ... chroot in a namespace to avoid conflict.
Container (like docker) but I don't know if exist.
Linux Center ... no idea if it's possible (even theoretically it is)
Philippe.
