I'm running latest software for ADM (3.0) and LooksGood (which claims to support Chromecast)... as well as the latest for ChromeCast Ultra (connected to my projector).
I can play all my files fine on my local browser from LooksGood (AMedia.. AiMedia... Player), however when I try to cast by choosing my ChromeCast, after a few seconds it says it can't play the file. My projector screen changes to "Asustor Ready to Cast" as you can see from the screen shot. But nothing ever works,,, i've tried diferent video types, .MOV, .MKV, .MP4, etc. However, If I run AiVideos on my iPhone I can play the same files to the same ChromeCast fine. I have the ports opened as you can see as well.
What am I missing?

I did not try LooksGood + Chromecast. But are your PC (browser side) and your chromecast device on the same LAN? It should not be related to cloud ID and port forwarding. If it's the same LAN, I think you should send a support request to asustor.

Yup, on the same LAN. Don't know what I was thinking, got rid of the port forwarding.
Yes, I do believe it to be a bigger issue since they just announce that Chromecast is supported in LooksGood.

Basically you should put NAS, Chromecast device and PC on the same LAN. That should work.

No ideas about this error. I think you should send a support ticket to asustor to check it. https://support.asustor.com/

Was told by Asustor engineer that Chromecast Ultra is not yet supported in LooksGood.
Hopefully, they will get it working soon.
