which flavor of vlc?

Post by akarali »

Hi there,

I've just linked the HDMI output to my so-callled smart tv wjhich doesn't support some codecs. So I'm planning to use looks good through direct HDMI connection from NAS (5010T) and asustor portal + airemote interface. Looks good is supposed to play the movies in a chrome window and asks for vlc to bew installede in the NAS. Vİdeolan webpage detects the system as linux but asks which flavor to install. Which one should I choose? I think ADM is debian-based; but I am not sure.
In short, which flavor of linux VLC should I choose to install in 5010t itself?

Thx in advance
