Aivideos 4K streaming?

Will Aivideos app installed in apple tv 4k (5th gen) able to STREAM and PLAY 4k files on a non 4k capable asustor nas (like as604t)?

As I know, AS-604T CPU is not good enough to transcode 4k video format. In case of raw format streaming (without transcoding), that might be working. However it's hard to know if both sides (player in apple TV and file format in NAS) are working on the same encoding / decoding way for a certain video. You'll need to find out what's the problem (format or bandwidth) if it's not working for each video file. I won't put that kind of efforts. I would find a capable NAS.
