Apps Not Downloading

Hi All. Yesterday I downloaded iTunes Server (FYI, so you know things did work before). Today I wanted to download Twonky but that needs chroot32 first so I tried to download it but it wouldn't load, just sat there with the progress bar going nowhere. It could be that my Internet connection dropped out at the point I started the download, it's rubbish but it comes back. Now I know the connection is OK but I can't do the download nor can I get other Apps to download either, such as the Java required for UPnPv2 Media Server.
I have only had the NAS (a 7004T) for a couple of weeks so I'm not competent with it. Should I reboot it? How would I do that?
