Mail server SMTP with encryption wont work in some cases..

I have an AS-604T and trying to setup a fluxbb forum. I now have set it up and mail server is working, but i want it to encrypt the mails..
But this fails.. But i have success doing this on my iphone..?
Have have forwarded 25, 143, 465 and 993
I can use port 25. My iphone uses 993, but in SMTP is specifited port 465, but im not able to change that to 993 but how the hell does my iphone use port 993? Cant find it in the Mail-server app?
Can someone help me here???
