Is AiDownload login connection secure? no HTTPS option

AiDownload is a convenient and easy to use, remote administration tool that interfaces with the ASUSTOR Download Center application on ASUSTOR NAS devices.

Is AiDownload login connection secure? no HTTPS option

Unlike some of the other Ai apps (AiMaster and AiData) that have an HTTPS option when logging in I do not see that in AiDownload app. There is no HTTPS option in login screen. I'm not comfortable transmitting my login credentials insecurely. Does anyone have any insight on this?

Perhaps for Android but surprisingly not in the iOS version.
