Videos, Photos via HDMI

Hello,

Is there any option to easy open photos and videos via HDMI? Using Asustor PORTAL I can't turn on photo gallery or something...?


I don't want to install any packages using CLI. I bought black box not to fight with it like with HP gen8

You can launch ADM within Asustor Portal. So you can open Photo Gallery. Any problems without that?
Another choice, you can install KODI which supports many video, photo, music formats.

From my point of view, using ADM via HDMI is the same like via network so where is HDMI added value? I tought that it is more comfortable, just turn on TV and works. Without any login to ADM.
As I have read, it is impossible to install KODI from GUI, right?

You can install KODI from ADM web IU. viewtopic.php?f=98&t=11335
After that, you can use remote control to launch KODI and navigate KODI functions under Asustor Portal.
