My AS-204T attach new 2 WD 1.0 TB disk (wd10purx) After open Asustor and Initializing ASUSTOR Live Update
then have -- Unknown error. (Ref. 5052)--
I cant find this error
What can I do ????

We don't know the error code. Maybe, it's only for communication with asustor. I can upgrade ADM successfully on my AS-304T which is similar to yours. I think you should send a support request to asustor to check it. https://support.asustor.com/

Hi,
I faced the same issue and noticed from dmesg (login with ssh to NAS, admin:admin) that firmware update was killed by OOM-killer always! Probably 512M of memory sets the limitation...
Anyway, I had very old firmware installed by default so I downloaded next version (not the newest, find the next release version info for you from latest version release notes) from download -site:
http://europe.asustor.com/download/adm/ ... rsion>.img
Then I used it for ADM manual update instead of live update. My NAS initialization succeeded with this trick, hope your does so too!
