I'm really not sure. It works at my end.
I often can't access uTorrent from my iPad, but on my laptop this works fine.

Re: Can't access utorrent web UI
I was at work hitting it using Chrome and Firefox on my home VM (TeamViewer). It's something on the VM, it's working fine from my laptop. Maybe I need to update Java on the VM or something.

Re: Can't access utorrent web UI
I am having the same issue where utorrent web UI not working
When I click on Utorrent my browser opens up (Chrome operating on Windows 7)
http://192.168.1.146:6880/gui is displayed as the address, and Chrome says "Web Page Not Available"
I originally installed download center, then Utorrent, and have since uninstalled both, rebooted, installed Utorrent Only and Rebooted.
Utorrent is the only App from App Central installed.
This is a brand new 604T 2 HD's in single mode set up as Volume 1 and Volume 2
The only modification I have done is at my router I assigned the Asustor a static IP (but I did this after first noticing the problem)
Looking through some of the previous comments, I have executed the SSH commands and below is a listing of the results.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
root@LylesNas:/volume1/.@root # /usr/local/AppCentral/utorrent/CONTROL/start-stop.sh restart
Shutting down utorrent...
Starting PKG_NAME...
Creating Symbolic links for required utils... Done
Starting utserver daemon...
start-stop-daemon: can't execute '/usr/local/bin/utserver': Permission denied
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
root@LylesNas:/volume1/.@root # ls -l /usr/local/bin/utserver
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 54 Apr 5 09:32 /usr/local/bin/utserver -> /usr/local/AppCentral/utorrent/repository/bin/utserver*
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

32/bin/utserver
-rwxr-xr-x 1 admin root 1230800 Oct 15 04:07 /usr/local/AppCentral/u torrent/repository-32/bin/utserver*
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
root@LylesNas:/volume1/.@root # chown admin /usr/local/bin/utserver
root@LylesNas:/volume1/.@root # chown admin /usr/local/AppCentral/utorrent/repository-3
2/bin/utserver
root@LylesNas:/volume1/.@root # cmod 777 /usr/local/AppCentral/utorrent/repository-32/b
in/utserver
-sh: cmod: not found
root@LylesNas:/volume1/.@root # /usr/local/AppCentral/utorrent/CONTROL/start-stop.sh restart
Shutting down utorrent...
Starting PKG_NAME...
Creating Symbolic links for required utils... Done
Starting utserver daemon...
start-stop-daemon: can't execute '/usr/local/bin/utserver': Permission denied
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At this point in time looking at the forum you asked if the runas was changed in the start-stop.sh
I do not know how to check this, but I ran the next suggested SH line
root@LylesNas:/volume1/.@root # /usr/local/bin/utserver -usage
/usr/local/bin/utserver: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.0.9.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Hope you are able to help out. Thanks for your time.

Re: Can't access utorrent web UI
Wow.. thanks for the speedy response.
root@LylesNas:/volume1/.@root # ls -1 /usr/local/AppCentral
mail-server/
utorrent/
root@LylesNas:/volume1/.@root # chmod 755 /usr/local/AppCentral
root@LylesNas:/volume1/.@root # /usr/local/AppCentral/utorrent/CONTROL/start-sto
p.sh restart
Shutting down utorrent...
Starting PKG_NAME...
Creating Symbolic links for required utils... Done
Starting utserver daemon...
Well it started. So now when i Go back to Asustor Portal and Click the Utorrent App, Chrome prompts me for Authentication Required The server http://192.168.1.146:6880 requires a username and password. The server says:uTorrent.
I tried my admin id and Password but to no luck.

Re: Can't access utorrent web UI
If you click on uTorrent in AppCentral, there is a description... Select "more" to see all details....
Anyway, user = admin. No password required (leave this field blank).

Re: Can't access utorrent web UI
I think most of the problems here are because nginx is simply not even installed or running, so how can you have SSL if it's not even there?

Re: Can't access utorrent web UI
it should be there... it is part of the firmware.
I think you need to enable it... services, web server, enable secured web server (ssl)
