Plex on AS5304t suddenly going black/cutting off

I have been playing my videos directly via HDMI from my AS5304t to my TV with absolutely no problems until around a week ago.

All of a sudden, video playback will flicker or get a black line across the screen for a split second every now and again or the whole screen will go black and when the picture returns the audio take an extra second or two to come back on. Up until around a week ago all playback was really smooth with no issues.

I am very new to Asustor, can anybody offer any potential solutions?
