Hi mates!
I have a AS6104T
I just replaced my HDD's with bigger drives.
So far so good... It's all there
But I'm not able to see my PMS
When I go locally through my Plex Media Server via the browser, I just get a "Site can't be reached" or Access denied
If I connect with my AppleTv, all my pinned stuff is grayed out, with a yellow ! triangle
Anyone got any clue??
I tried restart my NAS, I tried turn on/off the plex app...
Nothing!
Please advise
Northy

Hi Nazar..
Thanks for your reply
Wouldn't I loose all my settings, libs etc if I reinstall?

Re: Not able to see PMS/Plex web after HDD replacement
No you would not lose anything as the path /volume1/Plex is retained.
If reinstalling doesn't help, then you should look into the Plex logs what's wrong with it. Did the daemon start up successfully? Is the port 32400 listening?
You can also try test start fresh by renaming the Plex path see if it helps.
Sorry I've replaced Plex with Jellyfin a long time ago.

Code: Select all
netstat -natp|grep :32400

Re: Not able to see PMS/Plex web after HDD replacement
YMMV... These questions are best asked on the Plex support forum.
You can refer here, https://support.plex.tv/articles/repair ... -database/.
If my memory serves me right, try below, shutdown Plex, install sqlite3 from Entware repo in the App Central.
Find the db file in the /volume1/Plex/, change into the path, backup first the db file then try recover:
Note, I'm no longer using Plex and writing above from top of my mind, please double check.

Re: (Solved) Not able to see PMS/Plex web after HDD replacement
NP, glad it helps, do backup the db, metadata and images etc. regularly. You can schedule using the Asustor's Backup and Restore. I'm using a slightly different approach cron-tar-gz for my Jellyfin as well that's running in chroot.
