SoundsGood won't scan entire library

It seems the scanning hangs or stops quite often, and I haven't been able to get it to scan the entire library; in fact; most of my music is omitted. I have been trying to restart the app repeatedly, but to no avail.

Time for a bugfix, ASUSTOR?

Correction: I meant of course the soundsgood app on the NAS; aiMusic is just the client app on my phone connecting to it. sorry. :oops:

Hi,
I had the same problem but the issue was with one of my music files. The scan got stuck at the same point each time. When i removed the file my music folder was fully scanned. I have no idea what was wrong with the file.

Hi,
I removed the file it was stuck at and the one directly after that after looking in back ground tasks to see what file it was stuck at. Scanned the full folder after that.
I have kind of given up on sounds good and use logitech media server, it streams well from the nas and to my mobile using squeezeplayer and orange sqeeze when out and about and it is quite responsive with little or no connection issues. Over 600gb in Music folder.

I think it's better to report this issue to asustor. They should fix it. :shock:

How do you determine what file is causing the issue (to remove it)?

Scan progress was stuck on one folder, I removed that one and the one after it and it seemed to do the trick.
