Question regarding XBMC

Currently XBMC can be used to play almost all of the popular audio and video formats around. It was designed for network playback allowing you to stream multimedia directly from your NAS via HDMI to any monitor or directly from the internet using practically any protocol available.

Question regarding XBMC

Post by letolagal »

Hi,

I have setup my XBMC on my NAS now, and it seems to look ok, i can see all the menus, add folders etc.
But as soon as i start to play a movie my projector lose the signal.
When i check the android remote, i can see the movie is still playing, if i stop the movie with the remote
i dont get the menu back, i then need to remove the HDMI restart the NAS, launch XBMC and plugin the HDMI.

Screen settings in xbmc is 1920x1080, and i got a HD projector.
AS-202TE
ADM: 2.0.3.RAL3
Bios: 0.25 / 1.0023

Anyone got any idea what i can try?
And is HDMI connection buggy for everyone?

Thanks in advance

Check your refresh rate settings within XBMC. It's likely that the movie is playing at a refresh rate your projector doesn't support, and that's the reason for the black screen.
