Unable to access nzbget website
Hi
I have just started a migrate of my volume 1 from raid 1 to raid 5.
While this is going on I thought I might start to set up nzbget, sickbeard and couchpotato, but when I install the nzbget app I am not able to access the website. I get a question for username and password, I use nzbget/admin since this is a new install of nzbget, but the website just gives error 404.
Anyone got any ideas?

Re: Unable to access nzbget website
You can try nzbget/tegbzn6789
But if this works, it means the default config file hasn't been launched correctly, or there may be an issue with the directory structure.
Personally, I would uninstall, and then wait until your RAID migration has finished, then try installing again.
If still having trouble after migration, post here again and. I'll help you with some debugging.

Re: Unable to access nzbget website
Thank you for replying.
I'm finally finished with migrating and expanding my volume 1. I tried to install nzbget, sickbeard and couchpotato.
None of them starts, if I try nzbget i get 404, but the other two I just get a "problem with loading page" error. I do get a password check of nzbget, and the error 404 appears after I use nzbget/admin (default) password. If I try another combination it asks again for password, so it seems to check for password and also it seems like the default password works. But after the login check, I get error 404 from nzbget.
I think I might have done something to the web server or some kind of service that serves these web pages for the apps. I don't know exactly what, but for the last couple of days I have been moving alot of data back and forth.
The thing is I had a volume 1 of 2x3tb disks in raid 0. Bought another two 3tb disks, and put them in a raid 1 on volume 2. Moved all my data to volume 2. Removed volume 1 and made a new volume 1 as radi 1. Moved all my data back to volume 1, and them removed volume 2 and migrated volume 1 from raid 1 to raid 5, including the recently bought 2x3tb disks.
Before I started this I had nzbget, sickbeard and couchpotato running and working, so my guess is that somewhere in this process I must have broken something.
Is there any way I can reset the webserver that serves these pages? I'm a noob at everything terminal related, so I have no clue what to look for. I appreciate any help you might have.
Edit: Oh, and another thing. I have installed plex after this whole thing, and that works just fine. With the website and everything.
Edit2: I also tried to install bittorrent sync. There I can access the webpage. So maybe there is some leftover files of the others apps after I removed volume 1 that I need to remove manually?

Re: Unable to access nzbget website
For nzbget, sickbeard and couchpotato, just backup the config folder for each
/volume1/.@plugins/AppCentral/nzbget/config
/volume1/.@plugins/AppCentral/sickbeard/config
/volume1/.@plugins/AppCentral/couchpotato/config
Then uninstall the Apps in AppCentral, and install again.
Once installed, disable all 3 apps, and copy the backups back to the same location (overwrite the config that was installed with the fresh version)
Then start the Apps and all should be good.
nzbget will use the password in the /volume1/.@plugins/AppCentral/nzbget/config/nzbget.conf .... ControlPassword=<password>
So you can look at this with winscp et to see what it is.

Re: Unable to access nzbget website
Hi
I have allready tried to uninstall them and reinstall them many times. I don't care about the config, I think they're pretty easy to set up.
That did not work. Always the error of either 404 or just not able to contact website.
So I was thinking. If I try to uninstall the apps again, check in /volume1/.@plugins/Appcentral and if I find any folder that says nzbget, sickbeard og couchpotato and move/delete them. Should that be enough to make a complete clean install of those apps?

Re: Unable to access nzbget website
I uninstalled the apps and afterwards I found no related folders (as far as I could tell) in the /AppCentral folder.
I rebooted the device, and installed nzbget again.
Even after this I still get the error 404 from the nzbget webpage.
So I believe the error must be somewhere else in the system. Any ideas?

Re: Unable to access nzbget website
when un-installed, please do the following via ssh to see if there are any other stray .conf files... delete any that remain
then when the App is installed again do the same, but don't delete...
there shoudl be 3 of these
if any others, please let me know where.
now, issue
and finally
show the output of those last few...
Code: Select all
find / -name 'nzbget.conf'
there shoudl be 3 of these
Code: Select all
/volume1/.@plugins/etc/nzbget.conf
/volume1/.@plugins/AppCentral/nzbget/nzbget/share/nzbget/nzbget.conf
/volume1/.@plugins/AppCentral/nzbget/config/nzbget.conf
now, issue
Code: Select all
/usr/local/AppCentral/nzbget/CONTROL/start-stop.sh restart
Code: Select all
ps | grep nzbget
ls -l /usr/local/etc/nzbget.conf

Re: Unable to access nzbget website
Ok, so I did not find any nzbget.conf when nzbget was uninstalled. Installed nzbget and found the three files in the correct place as you stated in your reply.
Then I ran the command
That gave the following output:
After that the output of "ps | grep nzbget" gave:
And "ls -l /usr/local/etc/nzbget.conf" gave:
I tried to access the webpage again after I installed it, still the error 404.
Now, again, I am no expert, but does it seem to be missing the nzbget.log file?
Just to try I made the dst directory and restarted the app from appcentral. The log file appeared and contained the following:
There is where my skills end and I again must ask for further assistance...
Then I ran the command

/usr/local/AppCentral/nzbget/CONTROL/start-stop.sh restart
