Accessing "Home" Folder

The UPnP Media Server V2 App can turn your NAS into your home's multimedia streaming server.
As long as you have devices that support UPnP or DLNA (for example, SONY BRAVIA TV, SAMSUNG TV or PlayStation 3),
you can directly browse and stream the media files stored on your NAS.

Accessing "Home" Folder

Post by barsness »

So the Dropbox app forces you to put your files in \Home\Dropbox.

Now I want to access those files from a DLNA client. However, this app doesn't appear to be able to access the \Home folder. Is there some way to get this app to access the \Home folder?

Apparently to get this to work you must go to Access Control, then "shared folders", then "User Homes", then edit the rights and uncheck "Disable file access to this shared folder".

The seems to allow me to navigate to the \User Homes\Admin folder, which is the equivalent of \Home.
