Legacy and unwanted media sources

The UPnP Media Server V2 App can turn your NAS into your home's multimedia streaming server.
As long as you have devices that support UPnP or DLNA (for example, SONY BRAVIA TV, SAMSUNG TV or PlayStation 3),
you can directly browse and stream the media files stored on your NAS.

Legacy and unwanted media sources

Post by fwhamm »

When browsing the Media Server 2 (i.e. Samsung Smart TV, XBMC) there are 4 media sources:

- ASUSTOR
- Media
- Music
- Web

Media and Music are configurated in the settings of Media Server 2. But I don't know why the other two appear

- Below ASUSTOR there appear to be subfolders with German titles like "Foto" instead of "Photos" with all media appearing below "Media" and "Music"
- Below Web there appear media from my "Web" folder and media I formerly had within Video folder but had them deleted some weeks before.

Is there a way to get rid of those legacy and unwanted media entries?

BTW just deinstalled and reinstalled the Media Server App. The only change in the settings I made was to change to client language to "German".
