[RESOLVED] Fast Forwarding (FF) with DLNA and Samsung

The UPnP Media Server V2 App can turn your NAS into your home's multimedia streaming server.
As long as you have devices that support UPnP or DLNA (for example, SONY BRAVIA TV, SAMSUNG TV or PlayStation 3),
you can directly browse and stream the media files stored on your NAS.

[RESOLVED] Fast Forwarding (FF) with DLNA and Samsung

Post by fwhamm »

Today I recognized fast fast forwarding ("spooling") doesn't work any more with Samsung Smart TV and Media Server 2.

I don't know wether it's because of updating ADM2.1 and Media Server 2 App or of updating Samsung Smart Hub?

Until last week I could spool with Samsung remort control (arrows) or selecting tools and then spooling.

Does anybody connects with Samsung Smart TV and observes the same problem with Media Server 2?

Edit: Okay, it seems like it depents on the file's format if I can ff or not. Those are only few files I can't ff (but I don't know the format within the i.e. avi mpg container)
