Playlists and UPnP Media Server 2

The UPnP Media Server V2 App can turn your NAS into your home's multimedia streaming server.
As long as you have devices that support UPnP or DLNA (for example, SONY BRAVIA TV, SAMSUNG TV or PlayStation 3),
you can directly browse and stream the media files stored on your NAS.

Playlists and UPnP Media Server 2

Postby Sean » Thu Dec 12, 2013 10:39 am

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone can tell me how to setup playlists for the UPnP Media server 2. I've been trolling around the net for a while trying to figure out how to set this up to not avail.

When I browse my music collection I see the following tree Asustor-->!Music!-->!Playlist! but I haven't been able to figure out how to actually make it function.

Any help would be welcomed, thanks in advance,

I've now found that MiniDLNA can do rudimentary server side playlists. They aren't convenient but now I can set up a playlist for a party and just forget about it. It could certainly use improvements but I can make it work now as it is.
