.m2ts files

A lot of your favorite shows and movies are already available on the Internet and your NAS. Boxee is a device that finds them and puts them on your TV. It's easy to use and even better, there's no monthly fee.

.m2ts files

Post by pchakris »

I was unable to play .m2ts file with boxee. I have connected my 602 to TV via hdmi. Whenever I play this file (.m2ts with AVCHD from my camcorder) I was able to see the video but there is a lot of flickering on the screen and audio has a lot of background disturbance to it. Any suggestions? Can I try using any other app to play these files?

I am able to play these m2ts files in PS3 via upnp media server. I think it has got something to do with the Intel processor. James, could you suggest a best way to play these files to my TV via hdmi.

The flickering and disturbance are possibly caused by Intel's graphic driver, and we have been working closely with them to resolve this.
Is it possible that you can provide the video clip to us for analysis?

They are very large files. I can send a 10 sec clipping from my handycam. I have a panasonic camcorder which records 1080p with 5.1 sorround at 60 fps. 1 min video takes approximately 200mb file size. Where should I send this to?

if you have set up Cloud Connect or remote access by yourself, then you can simply put the file in your NAS, then go to File Explorer to generate a "Share Link" and PM it to me.

I am still noticing a lot of flickering and disturbance when I play a .mts video file. Are there any updates to resolve this issue?
