Compatibility questions

Post by Project86 »

What would be the drawbacks or real world issues by running the basic version straight from the app store? I'm not sure I have the skills to update via the method on that other thread.

Also, can we use Tidal, the new streaming service? Instructions are here https://tidalsupport.zendesk.com/hc/en- ... Squeezebox

And what about the regular plugins that normally appear in the Squeezebox app area?

Lastly, any difference between support on a Squeezebox Touch versus a Duet?

The basic install just installs an older version (so doesn't include the latest features).

You should be able to upgrade within the web ui http://forum.asustor.com/viewtopic.php? ... 037#p12053

Most plugins should work ok, but you may find some that don't.
