Logitech Media Server

Post by Grauniadangel »

Johnny Five's topic is locked but i'd like to ask if anyone else has tried to install this application.

I've downloaded and unpacked the attached file but can't seem to start the squeezebox server using putty.

/rc.ssods start gives me a error saying not found.

Has anyone else had experience with this?

Thanks

Why do you wanna start it using putty?
Can't it be started in App Central?

No, I mean after you manually install LMS app on your NAS, you can find it in [Installed Apps], and then you can enable/disable it by double-click LMS in App Central.

A pop-out screen will appear and you can choose to enable/disable/remove it.

Hi John,

If you wish to use CLI, then you should go take a look at /usr/local/etc/init.d/

James,

With the new ADM this app has died.

Thanks

I don't suppose there is any chance of reviving it?
